Plastic surgery – a surgical branch focused on correcting the facial or body defects that might be due to birth abnormalities, trauma, burns, and other disfiguring conditions, as well as on reconstructing and correcting particular areas of the body.
Plastic surgery procedures:
- Breast reconstruction;
- Reconstructive burn surgery;
- Congenital defect reconstruction: cleft palate, reduction of the extremity defects;
- Lower extremity reconstruction;

Cosmetic surgery – a surgical specialty focused entirely on improving one’s appearance. The main goal of this branch is improving/enhancing - aesthetic appeal, symmetry, and proportions.
Cosmetic surgery procedures:
- Breast enhancement: augmentation, lift, reduction;
- Facial contouring: rhinoplasty, chin or cheek enhancement;
- Facial rejuvenation: facelift, eyelid lift, neck lift, brow lift;
- Body contouring: tummy tuck, liposuction, gynecomastia treatment;
- Skin rejuvenation: laser resurfacing, botox injections, filler treatments.
Breast enhancement:
Breast augmentation - is a surgical procedure that includes using breast implants or fat (fat transfer breast augmentation) to increase one’s breast size or restore breast volume after weight loss or pregnancy;
Breast lift - a procedure called mastopexy, lifts the breasts by removing extra skin and reshaping the breasts’ forms.
Breast reduction - also called reduction mammoplasty. It’s performed to reduce excess breast fat and glandular tissue gaining proportions with body and breast size, also reducing back pain and other discomfort produced by large breast size.
Facial contouring:
Rhinoplasty – it’s a cosmetic surgery procedure used to both correct a deviated septum and enhance facial harmony by making it symmetrical;
Chin surgery - also known as mentoplasty is a procedure that is reshaping the chin either by bone reduction surgery or enhancing it using an implant;
Cheek enhancement – it’s a procedure that lifts “sunken cheeks” changing the face contour.
Facial rejuvenation:
Facelift - surgical procedure called rhytidectomy that improves aging signs due to the loss of “youthful contours”;
Eyelid lift - also known as blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that improves eyelid appearance. Surgery can be performed either on upper or lower eyelid, or both;
Neck lift – it’s the surgical treatment that improves aging signs in the jawline and neck, also known as the lower rhytidectomy.
Brow lift - also known as a forehead lift, is a treatment that reduces horizontal wrinkle lines that develop across the forehead, and also improves frown vertical lines that develop between the eyebrows
Body contouring:
Tummy tuck - also known as abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure that removes excess fat and skin, creating a new firmer, and smoother abdominal profile;
Liposuction - a treatment that removes excess body fat deposits and reshapes body contour and proportions.
Gynecomastia treatment – it is the breast reduction procedure for male patients that have excess breast fat or glandular tissue. It is the same principle as in mammaplasty for women;
Skin rejuvenation:
Laser resurfacing - directing short, concentrated pulsating beams of light, the treatment aims to restore the skin’s collagen and elastin layer, removing hyper-pigmentations and broken blood vessels;
Botox injections - injecting purified botulinum toxins into facial muscles, blocking face muscles from contracting, and reducing or temporarily eliminating wrinkles;
Cosmetic fillers - injecting cosmetic products that fill in little areas that lost the naturally-produced collagen, restoring the lost volume and lifting selected areas.
