From my first contact until the aftercare it was all a swift experience. I booked my flight, paid the deposit and came to Istanbul. The hotel stay was fun to be honest. I stayed at Radisson Blu and in the same hotel there were post-op patients and I had a chance to talk to many of them. Almost all of them were pretty happy with their choice.
On the day of the surgery, I was a bit nervous about my hairline design. It looked too straight to me in the beginning but they know what they’re doing and how to blend everything in.
Yes, the needles hurt a bit but the rest does not. My online planning was around 3800 grafts but they managed extracting 4100 during the procedure, which added more density to my crown area.
Month by month my hair started to come together. My donor looks nice and clean. Now I am telling all my friends to choose Heva Clinic.

I’m so glad I chose Heva clinic. I’m a 30 years old male and I was having receding hairline that I wanted to fix. I was extremely nervous and scared but the whole team was amazing . Bryan was my coordinator and was assisting me, making everything super easy. The facility is clean and modern. Everyone speaks fluent English and can assist you with anything you need. I did a hair transplant operation at the Heva Clinic on May 23. The entire process was smooth and well co-ordinated. I must congratulate my lovely doctor Seda who directly understood my expectations and to other staff who were guiding me throughout the entire process. My only suggestion would be having more comfortable neck rest during during the implanting of grafts.

I am a mixed race female in her early 30’s with medium length, thick, loose curly hair. Arrived at Istanbul airport and my driver wasn’t there. His sign was left at where he told me to come to, and his friend rang him for me as I had no WiFi / data. Arrived to the hotel who told me I had 2 days accommodation not 3 as was included in the package. I messaged Mary @ HEVA clinic and she advised me she would amend this for me.
Next morning I was collected at 7:30am to go to the clinic for the consult and agreement of areas to be shaved. I advised THREE times not to shave any more hair than agreed. The top part and under part of the hair was to be left unshaved so I could disguise the donor area. I signed the forms stating we had agreed on this and the hairline and proceeded to move to the clinic where they procedure is performed.
I go into the sink / wash area for my hair to be shaved and the doctor proceeded to share my entire under hair and was going up to the top part when I realized and shouted at him to stop shaving. I felt my head and noticed he had shave from my ear area, right to the bottom of my neck, which I was informed several times wouldn’t happen. He didn’t speak English so rang the coordinator who advised “Do not worry, it’s fine it’s a communication error, you will be compensated”.
I kept stressing how this is not something I had agreed to and was very upset by. I then proceeded with my operation and it was performed by 2 doctors with dr ozlem popping in and out of the room every 30 minutes or so. She was not present the entire surgery. I kept messaging my coordinator advising that I would like compensation to buy a glueless wig back home and for prp so I can enhance hair growth. They advised they couldn’t give a small amount of the 3900$ back to me, and instead could offer vitamins (additional to my package) and mesotherApy for a longer duration (this was already included in my package).
I then went for hair wash day and left my hotel at 10:30am, they kept me in the room after hair wash going back and forth about how dr ozlem doesn’t want me to complain as this will impact her. I returned to the hotel at 2pm I advised if they resolve this I will not complain, but they refused to do so. I was then taken back to the clinic where they do consultations and was here for another hour getting after care indirections. Very disappointed with this whole service that I paid 3900$ for.
In addition they have 3 different packages. The package I paid for was 3900$ and it states the surgeon does everything. But ozlem was in and out of multiple surgeries in tandem.
I then told the woman who was doing my check out that I have a free mesotherApy set included she said that I do not have that in my diamond package. I showed her the confirmation of this and they checked it and she gave it to me reluctantly.
I basically got the package down from what I paid for. Avoid!!!
I flew all the way from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to do hair transplant for my head at Heva Clinic in Istanbul and I say no regret. The cost of a hair transplant in Turkey is really much lower than in the rest of the world, like significantly lower than in Europe and the US. Cautious not to fall in for a disaster, I started doing research about this because I could see that the quality is very high and patients are satisfied. It turns out that most of it is the result of their government's encouraging policies. Low prices and low cost of living also play their role. Anyhow, after shedding light on what was occupying my mind, I went ahead and got my hair transplant in Turkey at Heva Clinic (#metoo). I had great treatment without shelling out a lot of cash and I see nothing wrong with that. My clinic picked me up from the airport, arranged a luxury hotel for me (they also arrange luxury apartments if that’s what you want, I just love hotel stays), and took me back and forth to the clinic in a nice car with a driver. It is all proof that they wanted me to feel comfortable. Great treatment, amazing results, and a professionally organized trip was the result.
