I arranged to have a breast reduction and uplift and crowns as they said they didn’t do vaneers even though they advertised vaneers. They said I would need a gingervevtomy on my gums which was extremely painful and I found out later this was not required and made no difference to the look of the teeth. It was an expensive add on being nearly half the price of the treatment. The breast reduction did not go well. I asked for a C cup or as near as possible and ended up being one size less than what I was wearing an E cup instead of F. The uplift looked good until the swelling went down which took several months when they dropped but were better than they were. The aftercare was non existent. I had WhatsApp messages for pictures. The incisions were not healing and kept breaking open and I was told to continue with the antibiotic cream or iodine remove any stitches I saw by myself. I was told before surgery that the stitches would dissolve but they didn’t. I was on my own so this was very difficult to do. 8 months later and the scars still keep breaking open due to stitches that I cannot see and remove. I went back to Turkey 7 months after the surgery as several crowns broke after a few weeks so they replaced them but it cost me £1000 to return as I had to pay for flights and hotel for 5 days. I also saw the surgeon for my breasts surgery as the constant opening of the incisions had created bad scaring around the nipple. The surgeon said he would go scar revision and a further reduction if I wanted. I was too scared to do a further reduction as after the surgery I was extremely ill and the hospital staff would not give me any medication to combat the sickness. They had me out of the bed within an hour and made me walk which caused me to sweat profusely, like a bucket of water had been thrown over me, and I was vomiting but had nothing in my stomach. I was told they should give you anti sickness medication intravenously before you wake to prevent this. I had not experienced this before with operations with general anaesthetic in the UK. After I left Turkey, the aftercare team did not contact me about the scar revision. I sent numerous emails and WhatsApp messages and even contacted the travel coordinator who did reply and said he would advise the aftercare team to contact me but they didn’t. Erdem was my aftercare contact and he did not reply until I said I was going to take legal advice and write a review as no aftercare was give. As per their contact. Erdem replied asking for a call but did not call at the agreed time but 53 minutes later when I was on another important call due to a family bereavement. I told Erdem this and he ask when I would be free to call again. I told him I was free but received no further call or message. I am left with badly scarred nipples and breasts that are not much smaller. People have commented that they can’t believe I’ve had a breast reduction as my breasts still look big. Given reading news today about a British lady who went to Turkey for a mum makeover and died on the operating table, I won’t be rushing back to Turkey and will have to live with the scars and hope the remaining stitches dissolve or work their way out.
