The National Cancer Centre in Singapore is a national and regional center that started its activity in 1999. The center provides high standard clinical services and patient care for people who are affected by cancer and for their families.
The center is organized into the following sub-specialist teams:
- Gastro-Intestinal Oncology. The doctors in this subspeciality deal with oesophageal, gastric, intestinal, colon, rectum, anal, liver, gallbladder, and bile duct cancers.
- Thoracic, Head and Neck, and Urogenital Oncology. The doctors in this field deal with such conditions as lung cancer, mesothelioma, nasopharyngeal cancer, head and neck cancers, kidney, prostate, bladder, and germ cell cancers.
- Women’s Oncology. This field includes breast, ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers.
- Lymphoma and sarcoma oncology. This subspeciality treats such conditions as lymphoid malignancies, soft tissue cancers, bone cancers, and other types of sarcomas.

1.Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology - the division provides comprehensive surgical treatments for cancer and non-cancer conditions. The division has more than 130 surgeons who provide high-quality care in 13 different subspecialties (General Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Upper Gastrointestinal, and Bariatric Surgery, Urology, Sarcoma, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Peritoneal and Rare Tumours, and Vascular Surgery).
2. The Division of Radiation Oncology is the largest radiotherapy center in Singapore. The division has more than 20 highly qualified radiation oncologists. It works with other oncology divisions such as surgical oncology, medical oncology, and palliative medicine to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care for its patients.
The Division of Radiation Oncology uses the following technologies:

- Computerized Treatment Planning Systems

- 3D Conformal Radiotherapy

3. The Division of Supportive and Palliative Care aims to provide holistic care to patients and their families because the diagnosis of cancer puts a lot of pressure and brings extraordinary challenges on patients and their loved ones.
The teams that provide practical, emotional and psychological help for the patients and their families consist of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other health professionals.
The division provides the following types of help for the patients and their families:

- Care and discharge planning
