Custom Assurance Placements, Ltd. has developed a host of specialized services and insurance solutions for the medical tourism industry called Global Protective Solutions (GPS).

In addition to various insurance products and programs for facilitators, employers, and hospitals in the medical tourism industry, we also assist with services and benefits to individual medical tourists.

The travel accident and complications services and benefits help ensure the “deep pocket” expenses that may result from a medical complication from an approved procedure for medical travelers on a global basis.  It was not designed to cover baggage, change fees for tickets or other minor trip-related expenses. The purpose was to help ensure larger financial hardships that may occur should a travel related accident or medical complication from a covered procedure result in a more significant loss.

In addition to the regular travel accident exposure of travel-related accidents, injury and illness our coverage has been enhanced to include a host of benefits in the event of a medical complication for a period of 180 days after the initial procedure. You will find most policies only include corrective procedure limits for complications of a covered medical procedure and they typically exclude complications from the rest of the policy’s coverage.

The program offers the most comprehensive and broadest group of benefits for medical travelers on a worldwide basis and is the only programme of its kind that provides protection to medical travelers seeking treatment outside the patients home country.
