Hair Transplant Surgery

There are 2 main techniques when it comes to Hair Transplantation.  The most common is the STRIP technique, also known as FUT.  A strip is taken from the back of the hair where the area is denser.  This strip is then made into the grafts that are transferred to the bald or thinning area.  The other technique is called FUE, this is where grafts are taken one by one from the back of the head and placed to the balding area.  In some cases more than 1 session is needed and these can be 3 months apart.

Depending on the case and how many grafts will be transplanted, the procedure can take anywhere from 6 – 10 hours.
