Description
Jurong Health Campus embarked on an exciting journey to arrive at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. At the start, we went out to interview the community on what the residents in the west would like to see in a public restructured hospital. We started planning on a clean slate and focused on a hospital design that is built around patients to offer integrated care and services. We also went to various hospitals here and overseas to look at their patient-centred facilities, seamless services and the best practices.
Breaking new ground, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital are the first hospitals in Singapore to be designed and built together from the ground up as an integrated healthcare development. They were envisioned to transform the way healthcare is provided to the community and designed to deliver patient-centered services in a seamless and integrated manner. They complement each other for better patient care, greater efficiency, and convenience. The hospital planning process took into account how patient care, treatment, and rehabilitation may continue seamlessly between the two hospitals.
The 700-bed NTFGH showcases revolutionary features and processes, some of which are a first in Singapore.

Reviews for Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
If u plan to go to this hospital their waiting time at A&E is ridiculous. U can forsee yourself seated there for 6-8hours. To be swab takes hour's,result out they don't update. They just let u sit on the wheelchair like stone.
To be admitted no matter how sick u are takes hour's. They say not enough bed. It's because their specialist are not efficient that's why they cannot discharged patient. They keep patient hanging of what's the next step. When the nurses and medical team update the doctor in charge the doctor just noted and never come for hours. So u will be waiting and waiting till the next day. Then they update u abit then go MIA the whole day. During my admission here i don't see much specialist doing their round in the morning like other hospital.
This hospital service super slow. Many students nurse and medical training staff batch by batch in 3 pax will come to examine u cause they preparing for exam. which i don't mind . Ask nurse when specialist will do their rounds all don't know. Communication break down i think. There is few night staff team which is helpful and kind. But overall experience this hospital is not up to standard. Close better. Keep patient for days but everyday still need to pay.
