The HCor Research Institute was opened in 2007. From the beginning, it was designed to have the development, execution, and publication of large and high impact clinical studies as major differentials.

The studies prepared by the HCor Research Institute have always been focused on topics such as clinical impact, changes in national and international guidelines, influence on health policies, improvement of clinical practice, immediate practical applicability within the scenario of prevention, and treatment of priority diseases.

Due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus, HCor has redesigned some flows and processes to provide a safe environment for its patients, doctors, and employees. It also implemented strict security and screening protocols for the care units to continue providing comprehensive care to patients. Thus, the most secure HCor was created.

From HCor Safer, the hospital has exclusive and independent flows for patients with respiratory complaints and for those with other clinical conditions. First aid, medical offices, diagnostic centers, operating room, hemodynamic rooms, and inpatient units are adapted to ensure agility and safety in the provision of medical care.
