What kind of technologies do they use?
Firstly, Plusdent uses modern devices for performing a completely painless anesthesia. With these devices, anesthesia is relieved with a microchip which regulates the injection rate, thus, you will feel no pain during the procedure. Furthermore, Plusdent is using various types of lasers which do not produce any heat, friction or vibration and, therefore, do not cause any pain. These lasers are used in implant treatments (to sterilize the area where the tooth is pulled), in surgeries (opening the gum to expose the implant), in periodontal treatments (as a support treatment to sterilize the environment and, thus, increasing the success of the treatment), in root therapy (sterilizing the root channels) and in case the patient have diabet or heart risk. Last but not least, Plusdent has an extensive range of digital x-rays (RVG), which are preferred over traditional x-ray because of the limited amount of radiation given and because of the more hygienic way of performing the examination.

Plusdent claims that they have fixed their prices so they can concentrate only on increasing the treatment quality. You might be interested in finding out that Plusdent has a few completely free procedures, such as: the oral examination, preparation of treatment plan and quote, the Small X-ray and the Dental X-ray (panoramic). If you are looking for an annual control examination (inc. examination, panoramic X-ray, transfer), this will cost you 75 euros. A tooth extraction will cost you 100 euros, while a wisdom tooth extrusion - 200 euros. You will have to pay 375 euros for a zirconia crown and the same amount for a full porcelain crown or bridge unit with cercon or procera. The price for a full professional tooth whitening in the consultation room (office type) + home bleaching kits is 325 euros, while a professional tooth cleaning (plaque removal, intraoral power jet, polishing) by a periodontist specialist will cost you 150 euros.
