My husband and I were well versed in fertility treatment after having tried multiple different treatments over the years. After many failed IVF attempts we knew we needed an egg donor, which are hard to find in NZ. We were extremely lucky to find two donors. The first ended up pregnant herself before treatment began and we were unsuccessful with the embryo transfers from the second donor. Back on the wait list for another donor we were at the point of giving up. Physically and emotionally I was done. But I knew about Fertility Argentina and I couldn't put our fertility journey to rest without looking into it. I'm so glad we did and eventually we bit the bullet and found ourselves flying to Argentina. It was surprisingly easy to get organised. The hardest part was finding the doctor in NZ to facilitate things this end. Once that was done everything else followed. Dr Glujovsky was extremely helpful and very responsive- replying at all hours to manage the time difference. I had some complications before the transfer so we knew the first attempt was unlikely to be successful. I returned a few months later for a second transfer and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. Quite possibly the happiest woman in the world right now. I'll be forever grateful to the wonderful doctors, especially Dr Glujovsky, that make this possible for people like me who can't have children of their own. And of course the most amazing woman, who gave us the gift of life. You never know, we might even be back to give it another go with our frozen embryos. An option I never thought we'd have. Thanks so much.

By the time my husband and I had arrived in Argentina for our first egg donor cycle, we had become experts at the infertility process. We had undergone several IU1 and 4 IVF cycles in Canada before our doctor delivered the bad news that we could not have a family using my eggs.  He recommended a clinic in the United States and Fertility Argentina in Buenos Aires as two good choices from his perspective.  After so many years, cost was a major factor in how we would move forward. In 2010, we headed to Buenos Aires for our first donor egg cycle.  Dr. Glujovsky was a warm and encouraging physician, and our two weeks in an apartment in the Recoleta neighbourhood was lovely. It was the most relaxing time we'd had since this all began, filling our days with being tourists in BA, interspersed with the required medical appointments.  At that time the clinic could not freeze embryos, so we transferred two embryos and returned to Canada. Unfortunately, that visit was unsuccessful, but we felt so confident in this process we returned one year later.  Once again, two embryos were transferred and 9 months later we welcomed our twin boys.  Success - after 6 years of trying to become parents! 

When the boys were three, we turned our thoughts having just one more child.  We reached out to Dr. Glujovsky again by email (he is VERY responsive) and we set out our next schedule for when we would arrive and begin the two-week process again.  By this time - 2016 - the clinic was equipped to freeze embryos. We didn't want to have twins again (and the clinic was moving away from multiple embryo transfers) so we transferred one.  Three other embryos were frozen.  We returned to Canada, but the cycle proved unsuccessful.  Because it is an easier process to transfer frozen embryos, I returned to Buenos Aires by myself.  It was an easy trip to fly from Atlantic Canada to Toronto, and then take a direct flight to BA.  I was able to depart for Argentina on a Friday night and have the transfer of a single embryo on Monday morning and then return home.

A long story short, it took THREE trips back to Argentina before - with only one lone frozen embryo left - we finally met with success.  Our daughter was born in 2018, and is now a rough and tumble two=year-old.  Our family is complete. 

The moral of our story: we have been through the infertility wars. We hit brick walls for many, many years.  But the kindness of Dr. Glujovsky, the efficiency of the process at his clinic, and the relatively inexpensive cost gave us three gorgeous children.  We are forever indebted to the doctor and to the clinic for what they were able to do for us.  And we will forever have affection for Buenos Aires and the portenos who call it home.

Hola soy Macarena- Luego de varios intentos de tratamientos sin éxito de fertilidad en nuestro país, llegamos a Fertility Argentina y el Dr. Demián Glujovsky nos atendió con mucha calidez y profesionalismo, estudió nuestro caso y luego de explicarnos el procedimiento a seguir comenzamos con el tratamiento indicado.  Fue Demián quien nos dijo:  "Yo quiero que se vayan con su bebé" , frase que no olvidaré nunca, y además nos fuimos con dos bebés!  Ese año quede embarazada de mellizas, las peques hoy ya tienen 6 años, y son la prueba de que SI se PUEDE.  Sucede que hay que encontrar al médico indicado que pueda acompañar a la paciente con el tratamiento indicado y personalizado.  El Dr. Demián Glujovsky nos resultó un ser muy amable, cálido y sincero, quien siguió nuestro tratamiento de cerca y eso fue indispensable en ese momento.  Ya habíamos pasado por varios intentos en otras clínicas y nos sentíamos ya abatidos.  Hoy mis mellis son el regalo más grande que la vida nos ha regalado.  Y créanme que vale la pena hacer los intentos necesarios pero con el médico especialista indicado.  En mi caso recomiendo al Dr. Demián Glujovsky, Fertility Argentina al 100%.  Sigan buscando, no bajen los brazos!

Después de varios intentos en nuestro país sin resultados positivos llego a nuestra vida el Dr. Glujovsky nos lo recomendaron y alli partimos a Buenos Aires a la clínica CEGYR.

Es increíble como una persona con su dedicacion, sus palabras su disposición y su cariño puede hacerte sentir segura, cómoda y con ganas de lucharla hasta el fin. El estuvo presente en cada etapa de forma personal por mail y por whatsapp.

No hay forma de agradecerle el milagro llamado Dante que hoy tiene un año y esta dando sus primero pasos!

Committing to fertility treatment began a monthly rollercoaster of emotions in the face of daunting odds, fraught with uncertainty, disappointment and financial stress.  We started with the basic treatments, supplements and physical health improvements, gradually we worked our way up the ladder to IVF.

By the time we reached IVF stage, anxiety and doubt had reached a sustained plateau.  We were not content with local doctor options, so we started looking elsewhere.  Luckily we have friends who were successful in Buenos Aires years ago.

We found Dr. Glujovsky easily through the internet and received a general introduction through the website and a skype call.  In short, we could travel to Argentina, vacation there, and have all the procedures done for less than the cost of one treatment in the U.S.  We decided that if we are going to spend all this money, we might as well get an adventure out of it.

At this time, we are pregnant, for which we are eternally grateful.  However, I remember thinking as we left Argentina, months ago, that if it did not work, coming back would be nice, and we could see Buenos Aires in the spring.  We highly recommend CEGYR and Dr. Glujovsky.  This was the most enjoyable patient-doctor experiences we've ever had.  Dr. Glujovsky was always available for questions, he met with us several times and we even communicated via text message (which is unheard of in the U.S.).

IVF in Buenos Aires is a time commitment.  It takes a full day of travel to get there.  The minimum stay in Argentina for the treatment is two weeks.  You could plan three weeks and have all the medicines administered in Argentina.  We choose for my wife to fly in with a family member to get the initial medicine and treatment there and I followed a week later, and stayed for the final two weeks of the procedure.

We rented an apartment a few blocks north of the medical facility in Recoleta through AirBnB.  Walking and touring Buenos Aires was a joy and there were many days in between treatments to explore the surrounding areas.  All of our experiences with Argentinians were very positive despite our very limited Spanish speaking ability.

We highly recommend Dr. Glujovsky and his staff to anyone who may be looking for an adventurous and compassionate IVF experience.  

Update:  We now have a beautiful, healthy baby boy, who is a joy.

Luego de varios intentos en Uruguay, decidimos ir a Buenos Aires con el dr demian glukovsky.  Desde la primer consulta el dr. nos brindó seguridad, escucho nuestros miedos,nos habló de las probabilidades de éxito, nos transmitió confianza, algo que es fundamental para recorrer este camino.
Durante el tratamiento siempre estuvimos acompañados, en contacto permanente con el dr. a través de whatsapp y correo electrónico.
Hoy estamos disfrutando a nuestra bebe, y estamos completamente agradecidos al dr. y a todo su equipo, que  gracias a ellos nuestro sueño se hizo realidad...
