I have been coming to BIDC for 10 years and have had bridge,root canal and implants. Up until this year I have been happy. However the trip earlier this year was a horror story. After my implant became infected I was required to have the surgery again. Dr Prakan was the surgeon. He gave me anaesthetic and immediately commenced cutting into the area before it became numb. I yelled out but he would not stop. Just said sorry sorry.
This visit in August i had my second implant surgery. This time I told him not to commence until numb. But no he just cut into me with scalpal again without waiting. The pain was unbelievable. Again I get sorry sorry and he kept going. Then after 1 hour he cut into the roof of my mouth to get skin to go over the wound .This is where the anaesthetic had worn off. This was the worst pain imaginable. Never again. He is cruel butcher who is just impatiant and wants to go home.
On top of this, just before he comnenced the implant surgery he tells me the cost has risen 10% since my last implant 6 months earlier. No notification of the price increase just hit you after you arrive and pay for the plane fares etc. I could have got it done in many other places in thailand for a much better price
This clinic has become greedy with costs and the surgeon should not have a licence. Shop around and stay clear of this clinic.
