Description
The Central Clinic of Athens S.A. was founded in 1997 by a group of renowned Physicians whose aim was to establish an Innovative Diagnostic – Research and Treatment Centre providing the highest quality medical services. The Athens Clinic opened in the second half of 2000 and since then has managed to establish itself as one of the most dependable hospitals in the country.
Since the very first year, the Clinic has developed at an impressive rate providing high-quality services at a low cost for its patients a result of, on the one hand, systematic control of economies of scale and on the other, its cooperation with all Social Security Organisations and Private Insurance Companies.
The clinic is housed in modern facilities with a total area of 5,000 m2 in downtown Athens at 31 Aslkipiou St. and is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
The Clinic offers 140 beds in rooms that are distinguished for their hotel-like luxuriousness. The 11 operating theatres have been constructed with the strictest of standards to minimize in-hospital infections. The outpatient clinic handles all specialties and provides a high standard of medical care to hundreds of patients each day. The Emergency Care Centre operates 24 hours a day and an At-Home Hospitalisation department has been developed to better serve our patients. The Clinic also operates 3 ambulances, fully equipped mobile units, which handle the transportation needs of the Clinic.
Reviews for Central Clinic Of Athens
To Whom It May Concern,
a few days ago I suffered from strong acute breathlessness and although already being aware of having asthma bronchiale I was not used to this intensity. Due to being on holiday, I went to the Athen Central Clinic and received very good treatment by a pleasant nurse and an experienced physician. Within a short amout of time I got to know, that this was my first asthma attack combined with a panic attack. In order to consolidate the diagnosis, they took a measurement of my general blood values and the oxygen saturation. Furthermore, they x-rayed my lung. All in all, the Central Clinic Athen seems to be hallmarked by the following characteristics: patient-side, sympathetic, decent, sincere, forbearing, supportive, ...
Additionally, I would like to pinpoint that they took their time for a holistic view over my health conditions; the costs for the whole procedure were very fair too. To put it in a nutshell, I can recommend the Athen Central Clinic for patients, especially visitors from other countries not being capable of the Greek language but at least being able of speaking English.
At the end: Thank you very much!
Yours faithfully
