PpBeware and stay away from Vplast clinic.. Dr BUNMAS. I was cheated either by the clinic or by the foreign patient co ordination Kate . She intercepted all my correspondence with clinic. I thought I was booked in for fat transfer with dr BUNMAS on 13 May 2019. I only had 3 days in Pattaya so needed it done on day 1 really . Had to send a deposit by western union and paid balance by cash . I was told the advertised price of $85000 tbh was only for Thai patients. Mine would be $150000 tbh.
The web site said that you could pay by Visa or PayPal, both of which offer buyer protection. Kate said the website was wrong and she would amend it. Only western union or cash .
She told doctor that my pre operative tests, incidentally that I had to pay extra for, were no good or that I had changed my mind about surgery . She kept telling me each day that the doctor was unavailable that day.
Come my final day in Pattaya I has still not met the doctor, I had paid in full for the procedure and no surgery . Kate told me that I would be refunded as it was the doctors fault that I couldn’t have the procedure.
Sio it begins. She said I couldn’t have the refund straight away as the doctor had to approve it then it had to go through accounting department. They would send me a cheque or money transfer.
After three months and a lot of communication with Kate, which suddenly stopped a few days ago, I was able to get in touch with someone at the clinic. She kept making excuses , blaming the accounting department . Kept saying that it would only take another few days etc
They were aware that I had come to Pattaya but were told by Kate that I was unfit for surgery and had not paid for any of it. So they say. Who knows ?
They said Kate no longer works there and they think she has taken money from several patients. They say they have made a police report. Who really knows ?
To say the least I am gutted by all this. I couldn’t find a single bad review of the clinic but there you go.
