Reviews for Florya Hospital
I recently had an experience at Florya Hastanesi that I found quite disappointing. Here’s a rundown of the issues I encountered:
The initial bloodwork was mishandled, resulting in spilled blood on the floor, my clothes, and the bed.
The hospital room was dirty with dust balls in the corner.
I waited over an hour past my scheduled surgery time only to have the procedure nearly canceled because the necessary paperwork had not been collected, despite the signed forms being right in front of me.
The gurney was maneuvered poorly by the nurse, who bumped into walls and left me to figure out how to change into my surgical gown by myself.
There was no pre-surgery consultation or briefing. After the procedure, I had to awkwardly move myself from the gurney to the bed.
Despite repeated requests, it took over an hour and a half to receive a blanket after I complained of being cold. Only after my mother insisted did a nurse provide a heater.
The bedding was inadequate, with only one small pillow provided, and the quality was lacking.
I was promised two consultations with the doctor but only received one. An EKG was also supposed to be part of the procedure, but it did not occur. Additionally, I had to undress in front of staff rather than in a private space.
After surgery, a nurse spilled blood during a routine procedure and did not clean it up. I was left to deal with the mess myself.
There was no tissue box in the room, and the lighting options were either too bright or completely off.
When I requested that my drainage bags be emptied, the nurse only addressed one part of the request and then ignored the rest, sitting at her desk instead.
No one checked on my during the night, I had to constantly ring for assistance to have pain medication administed of get something to drink.
Overall, the care and organization at Florya Hastanesi fell short of expectations, and I hope improvements are made to prevent similar experiences for future patients.
