Description

The West of England Laser Centre was established in 1995 and is based at the Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital.
The center has a highly skilled doctor, Mr. Kim Hakin, who carries out cosmetic treatments using the most cutting edge techniques and technologies.

Below are listed some of the procedures that are carried out at The West of England Laser Centre.

- Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure used to remove the loose skin and fat can develop in the upper and lower eyelids, and that causes a puffy appearance of the eyes. The procedure is suitable for people who do not like the tired appearance that is created by this excess fat and skin accumulations around the eyes. The procedure may be performed under local or general anesthesia and may be combined with laser resurfacing or Botox injections.
The price of an all-inclusive package starts from  £2,600.
- Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid and are used to prevent and remove the fine lines and wrinkles that appear on the face due to aging.  The fillers can also be used to retrieve the fullness of the cheeks or to increase the size or change the shape of the lips.
You have to be aware that the treatment is not permanent and it will last approximately 6 months.
The price of the treatment with dermal fillers starts from £320.
- Botox is a muscle relaxant treatment that aims to diminish the appearance of frown lines and wrinkles. Because Botox injections block the release of sweat, they are widely used to treat hyperhidrosis You will observe the maximum effect in 7-10 days and the results will last approximately 3-4 months.
The price of the procedure is £210 for one area. Each additional area costs £110.
- Laser Skin Resurfacing and Rejuvenation is a treatment that aims to maintain the youthful and healthy appearance of your skin. The treatment acts by removing the superficial and damaged area of the skin, prompting the development of a young and fresh layer of cells.
The treatment is used to reduce the facial lines and wrinkles, improve the appearance of acne scarring and treat sun-damaged skin, and to remove the unwanted moles and warts.
The price of the procedure varies from £350 for the removal of a single mole to approximately £4,500 for a full-face resurfacing procedure.
- Thread Veins Treatment is treated using the Aura vascular laser. The laser is also used to treat benign vascular lesions, red birthmarks, “spider” veins, and different kinds of superficial skin vascular abnormalities.
