Services, techniques, and fertility treatments

Single Parent Families

The concept of family is changing in our society, with the existence of single-parent families becoming more and more frequent. Assisted reproduction treatments allow you to choose the moment of motherhood/fatherhood.

Homosexual families

Families of gay couples also have numerous treatment options to make their family project come true. The CLOTHING METHOD also called “double motherhood”, is a technique by which the two women actively participate in the pregnancy of the baby.

Embryo Adoption

In those situations in which the woman or couple who wants to get pregnant requires an egg donation and a sperm donation, they can opt for embryo adoption.

Egg Donation and Reception

There are some situations in which women do not produce eggs or are of poor quality, not obtaining embryos with the capacity to produce a pregnancy. In these situations, egg donation is the reproductive treatment of choice.

Preimplantation Genetic Screening

It is a diagnostic technique before the embryo is transferred to the uterus. It is used in those situations in which a risk of chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo is suspected, regardless of their origin.

Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis

It is a diagnostic technique that is performed on the embryo before its implantation in the uterus has occurred. It is used in those situations in which one of the members of the couple has a hereditary disease or an alteration of the chromosomes.

EmbryoScopeTM Time-lapse System

UNIQUE IN CANTABRIA. The EmbryoScope is a special incubator with time-lapse technology, which allows images of the embryos to be obtained every five minutes, not being necessary, as in other culture systems, to remove them from the incubator to assess their evolution. This technology together with the application of specific algorithms will allow us to select with more precision the best embryo for its transfer to the uterus.

MAC's

It is a sperm selection technique used in those situations in which there is a high percentage of sperm with damaged DNA. It consists of separating the spermatozoa that have their DNA intact from those that do not have it and using them in an assisted reproduction technique of those previously described.

Sperm Microinjection (ICSI)

ICSI is a variant of in vitro fertilization in which each egg is microinjected with a single sperm. In this way, the work that the sperm has to do is substantially reduced and its chances of fertilization are improved.

Artificial Insemination with Donor

In those situations in which the male of the applicant couple does not have sperm either in the ejaculate or in the testicle or has a hereditary disease that cannot be solved by preimplantation genetic diagnosis or there is an RH incompatibility, it may be necessary to use sperm from an anonymous donor.

In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer (FIVTE / IVF)

FIVTE is the star technique of assisted reproduction treatments. The technique consists of stimulating the development of follicles in the ovary. To do this, the woman has put on medication and monitored by ultrasound scans and serial blood tests.

Conjugal Artificial Insemination

There are some situations in which the reproductive technique to be performed is conjugal artificial insemination.
