The Almería Virgen del Mar Hospital Assisted Reproduction Unit is made up of a team of highly qualified medical professionals, specializing in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Embryology, as well as by the Almería IVF Assisted Reproduction laboratory and by the Virgen del Mar Hospital.

Authorized by the Junta de Andalucía’s Health Department in 1988, it was the first to carry out assisted reproduction treatments in Almería. The Assisted Reproduction laboratory (Almería Fecundación In Vitro S.L.), has since 2008 had a Quality Management System, certified by AENOR on the basis of the ISO 9001 regulation.
