Saint Savvas Hospital Cancer Clinic in Greece

The Hellenic Cancer Institute (EAI) was founded in 1935 by the "Christian Social Union". One of the first works of E.A.I. There were the establishment and operation of the Hospital "O Agios Savvas". The establishment and operation of this Hospital was the realization of an old dream of the inspired Professor and Academician Aristotelis Kouzis, with supporters in this humanitarian work Panagiotis Poulitsas, President of the Council of State and Panagiotis Bratsiotis, Professor at the University first Board of Directors of E.A.I. This small group completed the huge project of rebuilding the Hospital.

Our mission at the Anti-Cancer-Oncology Hospital of Athens "O AGIOS SAVVAS" is to prevent cancer at the level of prevention, to offer a high level of care to cancer patients and to develop a range of activities aimed at the complete treatment of the disease in medical, psychological and social level.
