Hospital 9 de Julho is one of the most essential health institutions in the country, a reference in highly complex medicine, belonging to the Ímpar Network, which is formed by6 hospitals located in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília. Since its foundation in 1955, it has followed ideals established in the quality of care for its patients, with a focus on excellence in care, operational efficiency, and high resolution. A pioneer in several areas of medicine, it was the first private hospital to create an Intensive Care and Cardiac and Lung Surgery Cente.

It is among the select group of Brazilian hospitals with international quality certification by the Joint Commission International (JCI ), an American organization that certifies the best hospitals in the world, won in 2012 and re-accredited in 2018. 

With 470 beds available, 102 of which are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the hospital has a complete structure for emergency care, in addition to being fully qualified to carry out tests, diagnoses, and treatments. Owner of one of the most modern surgical centers in Brazil, it has 22 operating rooms, two hybrids equipped with Hemodynamics and Magnetic Resonance, and three exclusive for robotic surgery, including the Intelligent Robotics Room.

Technological hospital
Since 2012 it has the  Da Vinci robot,  capable of performing robotic surgeries, especially in the areas of gynecology, urology, and general surgery. In 2017 it acquired its second robot, with differentials such as vessel sealer (Vessel Sealer) and fluorescence-guided lighting system (Firefly), and in 2018 the third, the Da Vinci Xi. The clinical staff includes proctors and the nursing team is trained and certified by Intuitive Surgical (Houston, USA).

Other technological highlights are the brand new 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance, new Robotic robotic simulator, unprecedented in Latin American Hospitals for training surgeons and assistants at the same time; high-intensity ultrasound Hifu, to treat prostate cancer; new high-resolution image mammography, as well as a wide Diagnostics Center with the latest equipment. 

In 2018, it inaugurated a new building with over 60 beds that added to the 120 opened two years earlier, in a modern building with 18 floors, with eight floors of garage, also certified by JCI with an international quality seal. In addition, the building has the seal Green Building, a certificate that confirms the sustainability of construction.

Onco-Hematology 
H9J's Onco-Hematology has two Units specialized in Bone Marrow Transplantation ( BMT ), totaling 31 beds. With an innovative concept based on good international practices, the units have a water treatment system that is unprecedented in the country, guaranteeing water quality for patients with immunodeficiency, and HEPA air filtering system (high-efficiency particulate air filter) with positive pressure, in addition to apartments for respiratory isolation with positive and negative pressure, and individualized system for monitoring humidity, temperature, and air pressure, which guarantees total privacy and personalized treatment. With a qualified and specialized interdisciplinary team to perform autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical and syngeneic transplants, the Units are capable of serving adult and child patients. 

The Clinical Care Program in the area of  Bone Marrow Transplantation  (BMT) is the only one in the world to be certified by the Joint Commission International ( JCI), the largest quality health institution on the planet. To be certified by JCI, over the course of a year, the hospital should have performed at least 25  bone marrow transplants. In 2018, 52 transplants were performed, almost once a week.
